What’s new

Flash Apocalypse plugin

Flash usage has been decreasing over the years and the official end-of-life for Flash is planned for December 2020. The Flash Apocalypse plugin tool allows you to find flash content across your site. Then you can choose to delete it or replace it.

More information on Flash Apocalypse plugin (may be available in English only)

The Flash Apocalypse plugin is available and active in your site by default. You don’t need to request or download it.

Find and upload images in PLD’s HTML email editor

We’ve added a new button to the HTML email editor in the Personalized Learning Designer. This new button allows you to upload images and videos to an email created through a PLD rule. Before this implementation, you could only add images by attaching a specific URL.

Active user count panel

You can access your user count panel via Site administration > Open LMS > Active and registered users or directly using this url: (your_site_url)/admin/tool/mrooms/report/siteuser/index.php

If you want to check your active users by month or averages, and to view other useful information about your user counts, be sure to check out our active user information video (may be available in English only).

What if we have more users than planned?

Nothing to worry about! You won’t lose your data from these users and your platform will keep working perfectly fine. If you have questions about your user plan or want to discuss various options to fit your growth, you can contact us at [email protected]

Here are some additional tutorials that show you how to clean up old users or disable courses that are no longer active in the platform: (may be available in English only)

Updated plugins

Updates to plugins you already use are made available on your site automatically; you don’t need to request it.

  • Intellicart
  • Microsoft plugins

Open Mobile Block

The end of Life for the Open Mobile Block was executed in 2018. The final code removal and clean up target release is the Open LMS 3.7 MP 2 release in April, 2020.
