Moodle Core 3.4.3
You can now easily manage calendar events – including new category events – in a popup window. Calendar improvements also include drag and drop support event update, which allows you to easily change events created manually in the calendar by dragging and dropping them to the new date.
Helpful file type selector
When specifying required file types in workshops and assignments and uploading media files, a list of suggested file types makes the selection easier.
Unified user management view
Teachers can now enroll, search, filter and bulk edit or delete learners from a new single Participants and Enrollments screen.
New filters for user tours
User tours may now be filtered by category, course and course format, making tours target more specific areas of your site.
Override completion status
With this new capability, instructors now can manually mark as complete (or incomplete) activities on behalf of learners.
iAssign is a new type of assignment that allows instructors and learners to collaborate and accelerate document review via Google and Microsoft integrations. Select files from your Google Drive, OneDrive, or Office 365 repositories, attach them to assignment submissions, review and edit them online directly from Open LMS interface.
You can request iAssign to be enabled on your site via a support ticket.
iAssign requires Oath and repository configuration for Google and/or Microsoft before you start using it. You can find more information about these 2 settings in the following links:
After July 12, IntelliBoard clients will need to log on to https://app.intelliboard.net/signin using the same email address that you used for 4.8 logins. You will need to reset your password using the “Forgot my Password” functionality.
Prior to the SSO link working inside the IntelliBoard account, you will need to accept the Terms of Service, Privacy Statement and Privacy Shield inside App.IntelliBoard.net. Additionally, you may want to review IntelliBoard’s local plugin settings (Site Admin > Plugins > Local Plugins > IntelliBoard > Settings) to ensure the email matches the subscription email and to enable the SSO link, if desired.
If you have any questions about the process please don’t hesitate to contact Open LMS support.
IntelliBoard to 5.0

This new plugin from the community allows you to the generate dynamic PDF certificates with complete customization via the web browser. This plugin can be considered the evolution of the certificate plugin that you have been using in the past couple of years in Open LMS.
IntelliCart is a complete eCommerce and reporting solution residing inside your Open LMS instance. It includes robust dashboards and reporting tools for customers, sales, products, coupons and wait-lists. IntelliCart requires a separate license. Please contact your Blackboard representative to get more information.
Express theme End of Life
Express is now at the end of life phase and it will be removed from the product on June 05, 2018 for Sandbox Sites, and July 12 for production sites. At those points, you would not be able to access or use the Express theme.
You should have received communications previously reminding you of your options for themes after July 2018. We recommend the following videos and documentation for each of the alternative themes if you want to explore more about them.
Snap: Snap theme documentation
Clean: Clean theme documentation
More: More theme documentation
Boost: Boost theme documentation

Important information from Moodle HQ
Air notifier to registered sites and updated privacy notice
=== Message from Moodle HQ on 05/25/2018 ===
Dear Moodle Administrator,
Over the past year we have been engaged in a process to prepare for the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which will come into effect on the 25th of May 2018. The GDPR affects organizations both inside and outside of Europe, because the new regulations govern the processing of personal data regardless of where it takes place.
We are now releasing our updated Privacy Notice and Data Processing agreement (collectively known as “Terms”) for sites registered with Moodle.net. The updated Terms will automatically come into effect for all existing users and website administrators on the 25th of May 2018.
Certain Moodle services, such as mobile notifications (Airnotifier), use our public services. Thus we now require you to give us specific permission to allow us to process your users’ data on your behalf.
To ensure that there is no interruption to the services provided to your users and to continue receiving security notifications:
Step 1. Log in to your Moodle site and go to Site administration > Registration. Check that the registration information is correct and up to date.
Step 2. Click the button “Update registration on Moodle.net“. A red popup will be displayed. Follow the link in it and submit your agreement to the new terms.
If we (Moodle HQ) do not receive confirmation of the acceptance of these new terms the mobile notifications service (Airnotifier) will stop processing requests from your Moodle site on the 26th of May 2018. You will also not receive security notifications in the future.
Additionally, if you are using the mobile notifications service (Airnotifier), you must have a legal basis for processing your users’ data. Hence, you may need to obtain your users’ consent before allowing/enabling them to continue receiving mobile notifications.
Finally, we strongly recommend that you seek advice from your legal department and/or legal counsel in order to obtain the relevant legal basis for processing and ensure your continued compliance with the data protection laws and GDPR.
